Taylor graduated in 2019 from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She has been conducting research in the Tremblay lab since the summer after her freshman year and wrote her honors thesis on the role of retinoic acid signaling in hepatic induction. As a graduate student, she is working on the Knockout Mouse Project (KOMP) characterizing novel embryonic lethal genes. Taylor is interested in confocal microscopy and performing whole mount and live imaging of the liver bud and hepatic progenitors.
