Agnes earned her B.A. in Biochemistry from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was a lab technician at the Genomics and Sequencing Core at the University of Cincinnati before she joined the Mager lab. Her current research work in the Mager lab focuses on characterizing the early lethal phenotypes of mouse embryos lacking both alleles of embryonic lethal genes towards functional annotation of the genome. The goal of the project is to elucidate gene functions and their involvement with human diseases.
