VASCI Raises Donation for Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Center

The VASCI Climate Advisory Committee challenged VASCI folks to a Coin War to raise funds for the Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Center. As a group, VASCI students, faculty members, staff, and post-doc.s raised just over $390 for the Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Center.  This is an outstanding total for a coin war!

The annual Bay State Livestock Classic was held Saturday, April 22 at the UMass Hadley Farm.

Baker Attends the 2nd Annual SeroNet Investigators Meeting in Bethesda, MD

Ryan Baker from the Osborne and Arcaro labs in the Veterinary & Animal Sciences Department and Ashley Eaton, the Institute for Applied Life Sciences Clinical Testing Center manager, attended the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and Serological Sciences Network (SeroNet) Investigators Meeting at the Frederick National Laboratory on the National Institute for Health campus in Bethesda, Maryland.

Boston Marathon Runner to benefit the Community Veterinary Clinic at the UMass Amherst Mount Ida Campus

Brian Smith, a Physical Therapist, Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist is taking part in the 127th Boston Marathon to raise money for the UMass Amherst Foundation to benefit the Community Veterinary Clinic at the UMass Amherst Mount Ida campus.

2023 Winter Traveling Dairy Tour

Each winter, students from New England universities spend a week immersed in the dairy industry touring farm operations.
