Selected Accomplishments
Earned the Irma Baron Memorial Award for Humanitarianism and Compassion from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, 1990
Led a dozen veterinary students in initiating, creating and establishing a first in the nation alternative to live dog surgery laboratories. Resulted in TUSVM adopting alternative lab to replace traditional.
Developed, wrote and conducted training workshops about the medical aspects of large animal cruelty/neglect investigations for animal control officers under the auspices of the Humane Society of the United Stated.
