Nine UMass students (6 animal science majors, 1 pre-vet major, and 2 sustainable food & farming majors), traveled with Dr. Mark Huyler and students and advisors from the University of Maine, University of New Hampshire and University of Connecticut to visit ten farms. Farms visited included: the UNH and UMaine dairy farms, Stonyvale Farm in Exeter, Maine, Northern Exposure Farm (sheep dairy) in Holden, Maine, Seal Cove Farm (goat dairy) in Lamoine, Maine, Piper Farms in Emden, Maine, Taylor Dairy Farm in St. Albans, Maine, Flood Brothers in Clinton, Maine and Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine and Conant Acres Farm in Canton, Maine.
