ANIML SCI 252 - ST-Belted Galloway Management II

The purpose of this course is to provide exposure to the beef cattle production cycle and hands-on experience in all aspects of herd management, including cattle handling, vaccinating, deworming, breeding and calving management, calf care/weaning,  feeding, fitting, showing, and marketing. An emphasis will be placed on understanding normal cattle behavior and practicing “sound stockmanship.”
